
Turn Up is a unique mechanic used by Johnny in Guilty Gear -Strive-.
Overview[]
After Johnny throws a playing card using any version of Deal, he can strike it using any version of Mist Finer, regardless if the card is still floating down or stuck in the floor.
Should Mist Finer hit the card, it creates an extra vertical blue slash that launches the opponent up slightly if they're within range of Turn Up. Said vertical slash also inflicts a guard crush on block.
Once Turn Up is used, the card that triggered it is consumed and another playing card must be dealt in order to trigger it again. This means Turn Up cannot be triggered as-continuously due to only one card being allowed onscreen at a time (throwing out another card makes the prior one vanish).
