Stain (ステイン, Sutein?) is a status that can only be afflicted by Testament in Guilty Gear -Strive-.

Overview[]

Testament inflicts the Stain state by striking their opponent using Unholy Diver. Should it connect - whether the attack is blocked or not, the opponent gets covered in a dark blue/black aura for 6 seconds. Within that time, Testament can attack their opponent with any of their normal strikes, or use Arbiter Sign - if that connects - also regardless of block - the aura turns red and explodes; if the opponent is not blocking, they will get launched.

After that second part, the Stain state will have to be reapplied to be used again.
