Shock State (帯電状態, Taiden Jōtai?) is a status effect that can only be inflicted by Ky Kiske in Guilty Gear -Strive-.

Overview[]

The Shock State can be inflicted by using Stun Edge (Regular, Charged & aerial), Dire Eclat & Sacred Edge. If either of these attacks connect with the opponent, whether they guard against them or not, the opponent will glow with yellow sparks for 2 seconds. While in this state, the aforementioned attacks - as well as his other Special Attacks - will deal more damage all around. If Ky uses Vapor Thrust, Stun Dipper, Foudre Arc or Ride the Lightning, the opponent will come out of Shock State.

Ky cannot inflict Shock State while in Dragon Install.
