Roger is a supporting character in the Guilty Gear series. He serves as Bridget's weapon.

He is an intelligent and mechanized teddy bear that has been possessed by a ghost. Judging from his pretentious speech and behavior, Roger was likely an ancient warrior when he was alive. It is also said that he despises being compared to a Gear and will become quite violent towards anyone who refers to him as such.

Allusions[]

  • He is likely named after Roger Taylor, the drummer for Queen.
  • When using the Overdrive "Return of the Killing Machine" in Strive, his pose mimics the album art for Painkiller by the English heavy metal band Judas Priest.
    • His biker styled appearance in Strive with his tricycle made to look like a "chopper" or Harley Davidson with "Return of the Killing Machine" hearkens to the closeness of rock n' roll music culture with biker culture, from songs like "Me and My Killing Machine" from Judas Priest, "Born To Be Wild" from Steppenwolfe, "Highway Star" from Deep Purple, and "Fuel" from Metallica.
    • One of his voice lines for the same move is "Roger, Roger", the catchphrase of the Battle Droids from the Star Wars franchise.
