Kenroukaku is one of Jam Kuradoberi's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear X.

Overview

Jam jump-rises up with a drilling kick, turning upside-down as she swings her legs around in a vortex. The properties of the attack depend on her Breath of Asanagi stocks ( + ):

• 0 stocks does up to 4 hits.
• 1 stock does up to 7 hits and launches the opponent high on the last hit. Can only be done by inputting + in the Guilty Gear XX series.

In the Guilty Gear Xrd series, the attack not only gains a fiery chi motif, but it also changes from a drill kick to a rising knee strike, ending with a back flip.

Appropriate stocks also allow her to cancel into either Ryuujin or Gekirin.

• Both styles of Kenroukaku appear to be inspired by attacks in other games;
  • The GGX - XX version is similar to Cammy & Juli's Reverse Shaft Breaker in the Street Fighter series.
  • The Xrd version appears similar to both Joe's Tiger Kick from the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters series, and Sagat's Tiger Knee in the Street Fighter series.
