"Heaven or Hell" is the trademark battle intro of the Guilty Gear series, being its own style of round call. The phrase is a recognizable staple of the series, and is featured in most trailers and game introductions.

Overview[]
In all fighting games in the series, after the characters' battle intro animations, the words "Heaven or Hell" appear on screen, with an accompanying announcer.
Afterwards, the duel (round) number is announced ("Final" if rounds are set to 1, "Duel One" otherwise; while no duels are called at all in Guilty Gear Isuka), and "Let's Rock" signals the beginning of the battle.
