Guilty Gear is a webcomic anthology based on Guilty Gear -Strive- posted by Arc System Works. This was the team's April Fools' joke for 2024, teasing Malcolm Myers as a playable character for Season 4.1.[2] With the cover illustration by Daimon, it was a collection of 35 sample pages by various writers and artists.

Development[]

On April 1, 2024,[1] it was announced as a comic anthology by Arc System Works creators to be released on April 1, 2175, as a massive volume of 632,146 pages. The cover, by Daimon, showed the publisher to be "APL Comics", the creative team to be Kono Honwa, Deta.R.May, and Goumen Nei, and its price to be W$ 6.99.[3] The anthology's sample pages, released on a website, were available until April 8, 2024.[4]

Trivia[]

  • The number of pages seems to be a reference to the command input RightDown RightDownDown LeftLeftRight + Punch, written as 632146P in commonly-used fighting game notation.
