Carcass Raid is one of Venom's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear X.
Overview[]
Venom conjures a white pool ball near his feet, striking it forward with his pool cue. Holding the button increases the size of the ball, and how many hits it deals, at a maximum of 6 hits. The version bounces off the floor and into the air, while the
version ricochets off the floor and top of the screen before going off into the ether.
The ball from Carcass Raid can also hit any other balls set on the stage.
In the Guilty Gear XX series, Venom gains a variant, which has the ball ricochet off the top and bottom of the screen until it reaches the other side of the screen, though this can only be done with a regular ball. Additionally, in Guilty Gear XX Λ Core to Λ Core Plus R, Venom can feint the attack by pressing
while holding the attack button.
