Break the Law is one of Zato-ONE & Eddie's Special Attacks, first appearing in the original Guilty Gear and has been a staple part of his moveset since.

Overview[]

Zato sinks into his shadow on the floor, making him invulnerable to attack. He can also move back and forth using & inputs. Holding the button allows him to stay down for longer - up to 2 seconds.

Only between Guilty Gear XX Slash and Λ Core Plus R, he can transition into Shadow Gallery by inputting + as normal while still in Break the Law.

Break the Law is likely to be a reference to the Judas Priest song "Breaking the Law".
- It could also allude to the Three Six Mafia song.
