Bonding, also called Unite in Guilty Gear Isuka, is one of A.B.A's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear Isuka.
Renamed Bonding and Dissolving (結合と変性, Ketsugō to Hensei?) in Guilty Gear -Strive-
Overview[]
In its original appearances, A.B.A swings her chain in a circle, though whiffing this cause it to bash her head with said chain on accident with no damage done to her HP.
If the opponent comes into contact with it, she jabs Paracelsus into her opponent, then turns him like a key, making blood splash out of her target via a rune effect. This then puts A.B.A in Sacrifice Mode when used in Normal Mode, and vice versa. This attack also counts as an unblockable hit-grab, which has a grab-esque animation, but works more like a standard unblockable attack with an initiator.
Sacrifice Mode increases A.B.A.'s attack strength, though each successful hit drains her health. It also gives her access to:
When used in her EX form, she is not able to go between Normal & Sacrifice Mode, but she continues to swing her chain around in a circle, beating her opponent with it for multiple hits.
In Guilty Gear -Strive-, A.B.A omits the chain swing and simply drives the bladed end of Paracelsus into her opponent. If it connects, she yanks him out as she goes into Jealous Rage.
