GGST Alpha Blade Diagonal Air

Diagonal (air).

In Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R in his EX form, Chipp can transition into his other "Blade" series attacks (Beta and Gamma Blade) once each. In the Guilty Gear Xrd, Chipp can use a diagonal version of Alpha Blade while on a wall, though the properties remain mostly the same; it can be used by pressing Punch during Wall Cling.

In Guilty Gear -Strive-, Chipp gains a diagonal version by inputting DownDown RightRight + Kick. The ground version goes diagonally upwards, while the aerial version goes diagonally downwards.

Alpha Plus[]

GGXrd Alpha Plus

Additionally, in his regular form beyond Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R, he can follow up with Alpha Plus (α プラス, Arufa Purasu?) by inputting Heavy Slash after Alpha Blade connects, where Chipp does a reverse jab with his gauntlet blade that knocks the opponent back.

Trivia[]

  • Alpha Blade bears resemblance to Nakoruru's Annu Mutsube from the Samurai Shodown series.
